Sequoia Sempervirens

• We offer true old growth redwood.

• We also stock a large selection of very fine 2^nd growth redwood.

• All logs are very carefully hand picked; we often buy only the 1^st 80 feet of a log, for example.

• Our redwood logs come from green sources only.  Timber harvest plans have been scrutinized to ensure ecological forest practices.

• We can and do produce clear vertical grain up to 20’ long and 20” wide.

• Redwood logs gathered from the river have a very distinct color; the colors range from red to black.  Much of this lumber looks very similar to Macassar Ebony.  When a finish is applied it is absolutely gorgeous.  (photo)

• Our timbers are cut and graded for standard structural purposes.  Clears are availible on special request only.
